These are the single version of the Fighter plugging hooks, they’re made for a variety of stickbaits and poppers and give you a better range of motion than treble hooks due to the flexible assist cord used. The cord is short enough to not get wrapped up in teeth so you don’t have to worry about getting bit off. These stay in fish better than treble hooks but also have a slightly lower hook up ratio.

More recently these have also become very popular hooks for tungsten jigs due to their short length so if you’re using 150-250g tungsten jigs fishing for tuna or other species these are a nice option. These are made in Japan like the rest of the Suteki hooks.
