Salt is what quietly kills your gear. The film left behind after a day on the water is what turns bearings gritty, freezes zippers, and blooms rust on hooks and split rings. Varivas Salt Neutralizing Spray is a fast, no-fuss way to shut that down at the end of every trip. It’s a uniquely formulated alkaline-water solution with a built-in rust inhibitor that neutralizes saltwater on contact, so oxidation never gets started.
The formula is non-gas and non-flammable: no aerosol propellant, and skips the harsh surfactants found in many cleaners, so it’s easy on your components and reverts to plain water as it dries. That makes it safe on finishes, on your hands, and on the environment. The trigger nozzle throws an even mist, so a couple of pumps covers a reel or a rod’s worth of guides.
Hit anything the salt gets to: reel bodies and handles, rod guide rings, lures, hooks, and line, plus the salt-seized zippers and metal fasteners on tackle bags and jackets. It’s safe on electric reels too. Just wipe them down rather than soaking. Back home, rinse your gear with fresh water and let it dry. For line, follow up with Varivas PE Line Conditioning Spray (sold separately) to keep your braid slick.
