The Shimano Alivio FA 10000 is a powerful, no-nonsense spinning reel that delivers excellent value while offering the strength and reliability needed for larger fish and heavier fishing styles. Designed for anglers who want a dependable large-size reel without a premium price tag, the Alivio FA performs confidently in both freshwater and light saltwater environments.
Built around a robust body with an elegant matte black finish and burnished metal accents, the Alivio FA 10000 combines durability with a clean, understated look. Its larger size makes it an ideal choice for carp fishing, large predators, heavy feeder setups, and light surf casting.
On the water, the reel delivers smooth and controlled performance thanks to its 1+1 bearing system, which works in harmony with the internal gearing to maintain consistent rotation even under heavy load. The multi-disc front drag system, capable of producing up to 8 kg of drag, provides the stopping power needed to confidently handle fast-running and hard-fighting fish.
Equipped with Shimanos AR-C spool and Varispeed line lay, the Alivio FA 10000 offers improved casting distance and excellent line management when using both monofilament and braided lines. Its 4.9:1 gear ratio ensures strong winding power, making it easier to fish heavy leads, rigs, or larger lures for extended sessions.
