The Tidalus is Ocean’s Legacy’s bibbed casting minnow, a heavy, through-wired sinking jerkbait built to reach fish an ordinary minnow can’t. At 50 and 70 grams these cast a long way, and the weight-balanced body and bib keep the swim honest however you work it: twitched, fast wound, slow rolled, or dragged in the trolling spread at up to 8 knots.

Both sizes we stock sink at 3 seconds per meter, so you can work a boil the moment it shows or count the lure down to fish holding under the bait. The action is a tight, erratic baitfish wobble that draws strikes from surface feeders and deeper marks alike, in these sizes, think breezing yellowtail, schoolie tuna, bonito, and barracuda. Ocean’s Legacy also tuned the Tidalus to track straight all the way back to your feet, even worked down from a high ledge, a detail jetty and breakwall anglers will appreciate.

Construction is full stainless steel through-wire, rigged and ready with 4x trebles on heavy-duty split rings; if you prefer singles, the factory-recommended inline swap is a 3/0 on the 140 and a 9/0 on the 160. Finishes are Japanese 3D foil and flitter under a tough multi-layer topcoat with UV-reactive paint. We stock four of the eleven patterns: #6 Pacific Flying Fish, #7 Blue Pink Silver, #9 Mahi Speckled Lumo, and #11 Crystal Lumo Anchovy. The two Lumo colorways add glow for low light and deeper water.
