Description

The Penn Supremacy Jig Overhead models bring the same blank and componentry as the rest of the Supremacy range to a short, powerful conventional stick built for vertical jigging. SLSX Nano graphite blends 30T and 40T carbon across more than forty individual carbon sheets for a much denser internal construction than traditional graphite, and Flex Joint Construction is designed to eliminate flat spots through the blank so the rod loads and recovers cleanly under sustained load.

Both models are one-piece and run Fuji SiC K guides with carbon-wrap reinforced bindings, a premium Fuji reel seat and high-density contoured EVA grips, finished in black and gold. They are made for working heavy jigs off the boat with an overhead reel, and suit deep-water jigging for kingfish, amberjack, samsonfish and similar hard-pulling fish, though certainly not limited to those species.
