This medium heavy kit is a great way to save money for your custom build of a variety of California casting rods, anywhere from 7 to 8ft long. This guide set is used on most United Composites rods including the RCE and RUS series. These use Alps XBXNLG guides, from a 20 down to a 8. Since these kits don’t come with a tip you’ll want to match up your blank tip size to the tube size of an appropriate XBPPLT8 tip.
